Hugo Domingo Miotti

Domingo Miotti scored 170 points in 22 matches for Oyonnax in 2023-24. His team finished last and were relegated. That is the season that got him his move, which tells you how the points were regarded.

Tucumán is where he is from and where he started, with the amateur club Tucumán LT in 2016. The Jaguares took him in 2019 as the man expected to succeed Nicolás Sánchez, and he played nine matches and scored 61 points in his first Super Rugby season, coming off the bench in a final the Crusaders won. He also finished top scorer in the Currie Cup First Division that year, which the Jaguares reserve side won.

Then the ground moved under him. Covid cancelled the 2020 season after six matches and the Jaguares were removed from Super Rugby altogether, which left him to find a club abroad. The Western Force took him for 2021, and Glasgow after that, where he was asked to replace Adam Hastings and started only twice in his first season. He did start the 2023 Challenge Cup final, which Toulon won 43-19.

Oyonnax brought him to the Top 14 in August 2023, weeks after he had extended at Glasgow. One season later he moved along the same league to replace Louis Carbonel, and won the Challenge Cup in 2026 alongside a losing French championship final.

Argentina capped him in December 2020 against Australia and he has nine caps, only one of them a start, across two Rugby Championships.
