About Victor Hannoun
Twenty-two years old in a back division containing four senior internationals.
Victor Hannoun is 1.82m and 85kg and was born on 20 August 2003, which makes him one of the older players at Bayonne still without a published senior record.
French, and listed among the backs.
That build fits a fly-half, a full-back or a wing rather than a centre; he is lighter than every midfielder in the squad.
Beyond that, nothing. No article on him has been written in any language, nothing appears under his name at age-grade international level, and the club has never written him into a season review.
At twenty-three the absence starts to carry information. A back who has not appeared for the first team by that age at a club recruiting Gareth Anscombe, Reece Hodge and Mateo Carreras is competing for a place that may not exist, and the usual next step is a loan or a move to Pro D2 or Nationale, where regular rugby is available.
That is a common and unglamorous career, and it is not a failed one. It is also, at this point, entirely undocumented, and this page is not going to guess at which version of it applies.
