Jac Morgan

Jac Morgan captained Wales through the worst stretch in their modern history and came out of it with his reputation enhanced, which takes some doing.

He is an openside of the fetching school — over the ball early, low enough to be difficult to shift legally, and productive at the breakdown in matches where Wales have very little other possession to work with. In a struggling side, individual turnover counts are the only reliable currency, and his have been high.

The carrying is better than the size suggests. He is not a big number seven by current standards and compensates with leg drive and a low centre of gravity.
