He is a loosehead at Lyon, 1.81m and 133kg — the heaviest player in the squad — and was born in Albertville on 19 May 1995.
He came up through SO Ugine Albertville, US Montmélian and CS Bourgoin-Jallieu, and made his professional debut in Pro D2 at 21.
Then he went backwards to go forwards: Michel Ringeval’s Chambéry in Fédérale 1 in 2017, Grenoble in Pro D2 in 2019. He had extended at Grenoble to June 2023 when Lyon bought him out for 220,000 euros, taking him to the top flight from 2021-22.
His one European final, in 2025, ended in defeat.
Short, extremely heavy and a pure scrummager. That build has been unfashionable for a decade and it still wins scrums, which is why a Top 14 club paid a transfer fee for a 26-year-old from the division below.
