About Moses Alo-Emile

Moses Alo-Emile was born in Brisbane and his older brother Paul has played international rugby for Samoa. His own first cap, on 11 July 2026, came against Australia, and he started it.

Prop at Stade Français, 1.87m and 125kg, and 26 years old.

He went to Brisbane State High School and played for the school side there before the Paris academy took him in July 2018, on a three-year academy contract, at eighteen. He has not been anywhere else since.

The first appearance came quickly, in December 2018 in Europe against the Ospreys, on for Sylvain Nicolas with a quarter of an hour left. The first Top 14 start took another two years and two months, against La Rochelle in February 2021, in a season that gave him thirteen championship matches.

From there it built the way a prop’s career usually builds, which is slowly and then suddenly. A first try against Toulon in January 2022 in a twenty-match season. Twenty-two championship matches the year after that, and an extension in October 2022. In July 2024 the club tied him down to 2028.

Fabien Galthié named him in a thirty-three for the 2026 Championship of Nations in June of that year. The cap followed the next month, in Australia, which is not a bad place for a Brisbane-born prop to start.

One cap, one start, one club. At 125kg he is the heaviest man in the squad, and eight years at a single club at that weight is unusual enough to be worth saying out loud.
