About Théo Millet
Théo Millet started playing at four because his older brother did. His father Patrice coached at the Boitsfort club where he learned the game.
Centre at Lyon, 1.89m and 99kg, born in Toulouse on 8 July 1997.
He took up sevens in 2014 with the France Under-18 side, moved up to the development squad and then to the full national sevens team. In fifteens France picked him at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20. Four age groups and a sevens international career, and no senior cap has followed.
Stade Français signed him into their academy in 2015, alongside the pôle espoirs at the Lycée Lakanal, and extended his espoir contract by two years in 2016. They then released him from the final year of it.
Oyonnax picked him up in 2018 for their academy and their Oyo Elite programme, and gave him a first professional contract a year later.
In 2022-23 he started all 25 of his matches and scored three tries as Oyonnax topped the Pro D2 regular season. He started the final against Grenoble, which Oyonnax won 14-3 to go up. Charlie Cassang scored the opening try of that match and is now alongside him at Lyon.
His first European final came in 2025, and Lyon were beaten in it.
A hard-running centre who was in every France junior squad going and then spent five years in the second division. He is 29 now, in his third season back in the top flight, and the sevens background still shows in how he carries into contact.
