Zack Henry

Against Lyon in October 2023 Zack Henry scored twenty-one of his side’s thirty-six points and kicked eight out of eight. Midi Olympique gave him its player of the week for it. He had begun his professional career seven years earlier in the French third division.

Fly-half at Stade Français, 1.82m and 89kg, and 31 years old.

Brighton born, and out of the Harlequins academy. While he was at the University of Bath he played for Great Britain at the 2016 world university sevens and came home with silver, beaten by Australia in the final.

Rouen took him in 2016 and he spent two seasons in Fédérale 1: thirty-four matches, 254 points, and a national final lost in 2018. Nevers and Pro D2 followed for two more, thirty-six matches and 314 points.

Leicester signed him in February 2020 for the following season. He got seven matches of a campaign Covid had cut in half, and came on for Nemani Nadolo in the 2021 Challenge Cup final that Montpellier won 18-17.

The Top 14 arrived at twenty-six, with Pau. His first season there was mostly at full-back, fifteen matches and seventy-seven points. Antoine Hastoy’s departure made him the first-choice ten for the second, and he finished it with 285 points off the tee.

Out of contract, he signed in Paris for 2023-24. A knee ligament sprain against Perpignan in early October 2025 cost him several weeks.

Note on his current club: Henry is still listed in Stade Français‘s squad data. At the end of January 2026 he signed with the Newcastle Red Bulls from the 2026-27 season.
