How it works

Call the winner and the margin on any fixture before it kicks off. Closer is better — you do not have to be exactly right to score. It is free, and there is nothing to install.

You call the winner: +5; Right team, any margin.
How close the margin was: +0 to +10; Only if you got the winner right. Start at 10 and lose one for every point you were out by.
Exact margin: +5; On top of the closeness points.
First try scorer: +5; Where the pick is offered.
Your banker: Doubled; Mark a match as your banker and everything it scores counts twice — including nothing.
Calling every match: +3; For calling every fixture in a competition, with every pick in before its first kickoff. Awarded once the competition has finished.

So: you say the home side by 7, they win by 4 — that is 12 points. Nobody has to do the arithmetic; it is worked out for you the moment the result lands.

The rules that catch people out

A pick locks the moment the match kicks off, to the second, on our clock rather than yours. Change it as often as you like before then — only the last one counts.
Get the winner wrong and the margin earns nothing, however close it was.
A draw is a pick in its own right: call it by setting the margin to zero.
You get one banker per competition, and it doubles what that match scores — which doubles nothing just as happily as it doubles fifteen. Move it to another match and it leaves the first. It has to be set before the competition's first kickoff, and after that it stays where it is.
The bonus for calling a whole competition needs every pick in before its first kickoff. Joining it halfway through still scores; it just cannot earn that one.
If a match is cancelled or abandoned it scores nothing for anybody, and it stops counting towards calling a full competition.
Results are checked by hand before they count. If one is corrected afterwards, the table is worked out again from scratch — nobody keeps points they did not earn, and nobody loses points they did.
