About Fletcher Newell
Fletcher Newell is the tighthead New Zealand have been developing behind Tyrel Lomax, and the succession is now well advanced.
He is a technical scrummager rather than an overwhelming physical presence — good body height, strong at the hit, and consistent across eighty minutes in a position where most props are managed carefully. That profile has made him useful both as a starter and as a bench option.
