About Franco Smith

Franco Smith has been Glasgow Warriors head coach since August 2022, arriving from the Italy national job where he had spent three years. A former South Africa fly-half, he built his coaching career with the Cheetahs before moving to Europe. At Glasgow he has extended his contract to the summer of 2028 and turned the Warriors into consistent United Rugby Championship contenders, including a title-winning campaign.
