Gonzalo Quesada was appointed Italy head coach in June 2023 and took charge after that year’s Rugby World Cup, with the 2024 Six Nations his first campaign in the role. A former Argentina fly-half and one of the leading goal-kickers of his era, he built his coaching career in France, guiding Stade Français to the Top 14 title in 2015 before spells with Biarritz and a return to Paris.
