About Leo Cullen

Leo Cullen has been Leinster head coach since 2015, making him by some distance the longest-serving coach in the province’s professional history. A former Leinster and Ireland lock who captained the side to its first European title, he moved into coaching at the club immediately after retiring. In June 2026 Leinster confirmed he will leave when his contract expires at the end of the 2026-27 season, triggering a succession search. Jacques Nienaber works alongside him as senior coach.
