About Rob Baxter

Rob Baxter has been Exeter Chiefs director of rugby since March 2009, taking the club from the second tier to the Premiership title and a European Champions Cup double in 2020. A former Exeter captain and lock, he has spent his entire career at the club. Following Rob Hunter’s departure in May 2025 he returned to front-line coaching duties alongside the director of rugby role, with the head coach position unfilled.
