About Nigel Davies

Nigel Davies returned to the Scarlets as interim director of rugby in January 2026 and was confirmed on a permanent two-year deal on 30 June 2026, after conducting a review of the club’s rugby operation. The restructure means the Scarlets now run without a head coach: Davies holds responsibility for coaching, selection and player development. A former Wales centre, he had previously been head coach at the region and at Gloucester.
